Compensation for man who slipped on supermarket floor
Our client, Mr M, is a retired 69 year old man who slipped on a wet floor in Sainsbury’s supermarket sustaining a soft tissue injury to his hip.
He already had severe osteoarthritis of the hip but now suffers 20% more pain than before as a result of the accident. This deterioration will be permanent and the need for a total hip replacement was brought forward by 2 years.
Sainsbury’s admitted liability and Boyes Turner negotiated his compensation claim at £8k.
